Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Jerusalem. Head west on Jaffa Street (Derech Yafo) and continue straight. After about 3 km, take a right onto Sderot Herzl. Follow the signs for Yad Vashem. After passing Yad Vashem, continue straight for about 1 km, and you will see the Homage to Jerusalem monument on your left. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan to arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Homage to Jerusalem via public transportation, start at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem. Take bus number 21 or 24 towards Yad Vashem. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Yad Vashem stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the monument. Head northwest and follow the signs directing you to Homage to Jerusalem. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as buses may run less frequently on weekends.
Walking
If you are close to Yad Vashem, you can also walk to the Homage to Jerusalem. From the main entrance of Yad Vashem, exit the museum grounds and head northwest on the path for about 1 km until you reach the monument. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, and be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
