Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Jerusalem. Head south on Jaffa Street and continue to King David Street. Follow the signs towards Mount Zion. King David's Tomb is located near the entrance of the Old City on Mount Zion. Parking can be found nearby, but be aware that it may require payment in some areas.
Public Transportation
Take the light rail from the city center towards the 'Mount Herzl' station. Get off at the 'City Hall' stop and transfer to bus number 99, which heads towards the Mount Zion area. Get off at the 'David's Tomb' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of King David's Tomb. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.
Walking from the Old City
If you are already in the Old City of Jerusalem, exit through the Zion Gate. Walk straight along the road towards Mount Zion. King David's Tomb is located along this path, and it is roughly a 10-15 minute walk from the Zion Gate. Look for signs directing you to the Tomb.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi directly to King David's Tomb. Taxis are readily available throughout Jerusalem. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Kever David' or 'King David's Tomb' on Mount Zion. The fare will depend on your starting location within the city.
