    If you are already in the Old City, start at the Jaffa Gate, which is one of the main entrances. From Jaffa Gate, walk straight down David Street, a vibrant market street filled with shops. Continue walking until you reach a prominent intersection with a large open area in front of you. This area is known as Zion Square. From Zion Square, head towards the direction of the Western Wall, which you can see signs for. Follow the signs leading you through the narrow streets. You will go through the Jewish Quarter, where you can enjoy the historical architecture. As you approach the Western Wall, you will see the entrance to the Western Wall Plaza. The Western Wall Excavations are located adjacent to the plaza, where you can access the archaeological site.
