Public Bus
From Modi'in, head to the nearest bus station, Modi'in Central Station. Take bus line 186 towards Jerusalem. The journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Jerusalem, disembark and follow the signs to the Old City. You can walk to Jaffa Gate, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. From Jaffa Gate, continue walking straight until you reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, located within the Old City.

Train
Start your journey from Modi'in by walking to Modi'in Merkaz train station. Take the train towards Tel Aviv and change at the Ben Gurion Airport station for a train towards Jerusalem. Ride to the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station. From there, take bus line 99 or 78 towards the Old City. Get off at the stop closest to the Jaffa Gate, and walk straight to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is a short distance from the gate.

If you are staying in the Modi'in area and prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely stroll towards the bus station and catch a bus to Jerusalem. Alternatively, if you want a longer adventure, you can head towards the train station and take a train to Jerusalem. Follow the aforementioned instructions to reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre once in the city.
