Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Bolzano. Head south on Via dei Portici towards Via Museo. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Claudia de' Medici. Turn left onto Via Claudia de' Medici and drive for about 1 kilometer. Castel Mareccio will be on your right, just before the intersection with Via S. Giovanni.
Public Transport
To reach Castel Mareccio by public transport, take bus line 10 from Bolzano's main train station (Stazione FS). Get off at the 'Mareccio' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From there, walk down Via Mareccio, and you'll see the castle ahead. It's a short 5-minute walk to the entrance.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Bolzano and prefer to walk, head towards the city center and follow the signs for the Old Town. From Walther Square, take Via dei Portici to Via Museo. Continue to Via Claudia de' Medici, where you will find Castel Mareccio after approximately 15-20 minutes of walking.
