Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Merano, which is about 15 km away from Gilfklamm. Drive on the SS38 road towards Passo dello Stelvio. After approximately 10 km, turn onto the SP75 road. Follow the signs for Gilfklamm. Be aware that parking is available nearby, but you may need to pay a small fee (around €5) for parking.
Public Transportation
From Merano, you can take the bus line 211 towards Senale San Felice. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Gilfklamm' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the attraction. The bus ticket costs approximately €3.50. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Gilfklamm and prefer walking, you can access the site from Merano via hiking trails. Follow the signs for 'Gilfklamm' from the city center, which will lead you through scenic landscapes. The hike is around 5 km and takes approximately 1.5 hours.
