Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey by heading to the town of Bolzano. From Bolzano, take the SS12 road north towards Pennes. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Here, take the left turn onto the SP88 road. Continue on the SP88 for about 10 kilometers until you arrive at Penser Joch, which is located at Passo, 39040 Pennes BZ. There is parking available at the top, but be mindful of any potential parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Penser Joch via public transportation, start at Bolzano's central train station. Take Bus Line 10 towards Sarentino and disembark at the last stop in Sarentino. From there, transfer to Bus Line 1, which will take you directly to the Penser Joch stop. The total travel time will be around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and you should check the bus schedules in advance to ensure a smooth transfer. A one-way bus ticket will cost approximately €5.
