    From the center of Amalfi, head towards the Amalfi Cathedral (Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea). Once you reach the cathedral, continue straight on the main road (Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi) for approximately 10 minutes. You'll pass by various shops and cafes. After about 600 meters, take a left onto Via Nuova Chiunzi. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus stop for Sita buses. Take a Sita bus towards Naples. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the Ercolano Scavi stop. From there, Ara di Marco Nonio Balbo is a short 5-minute walk. Head north on Via Roma, and turn left on Corso Resina. The monument will be on your right.

Turn left onto Corso Resina, and you will find Ara di Marco Nonio Balbo about 300 meters ahead on your right.
