Car
If you are travelling by car, start from Aosta's city center. Head northwest on Via Monte Emilius towards the SS26. Merge onto the SS26 road towards Courmayeur. After approximately 4 km, take the exit for Saint-Christophe. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via della Libertà. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will see the signs for Becca di Viou. Follow the signs for the scenic viewpoint. There is a small parking area at the top where you can park your car, but be mindful of the local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Becca di Viou using public transport, take a bus from Aosta's central bus station (Stazione degli Autobus) to Saint-Christophe. Bus line 1 or 2 will take you there, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Saint-Christophe stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km towards Becca di Viou. Look for signs indicating the path to the viewpoint. The walking path is well marked and offers beautiful views along the way.
Hiking
If you are an adventurer and prefer hiking, you can start from Saint-Christophe. From the bus stop, follow Via della Libertà until you reach the trailhead. The hike to Becca di Viou is approximately 3 km and will take you around 1 hour to reach the top. The trail is moderate and well-marked, providing stunning views of the Aosta Valley. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water, as there are no facilities along the trail.
