Car
If you are driving from Aosta, take the SS26 road in the direction of Courmayeur. After about 20 km, turn onto the SP25 road towards Chatelard. Follow the SP25 for approximately 10 km until you reach Frazione Chateau. The Châtelard Castle will be visible as you approach the village.
Public Transportation
From Aosta, take a bus from the Aosta bus station towards Courmayeur. You can catch the bus number 1 or 2, which runs regularly. Once you arrive in Courmayeur, switch to a local bus that goes to Chatelard. The journey may take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as the frequency may vary. Once you reach the stop in Frazione Chateau, Châtelard Castle is a short walk away.
Taxi
If you prefer a more private mode of transport, consider taking a taxi from Aosta directly to Châtelard Castle. This option can be more expensive, with fares typically ranging from €50 to €70 depending on traffic and time of day. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
