Car
If you're driving from Aosta, take the A5 autostrada towards Courmayeur. Continue on the A5 until you reach the exit for Chatillon/Saint Vincent. Merge onto the SS26 and follow the signs for Cervinia until you reach the town of Zermatt. Once in Zermatt, follow the signs to the parking area, then take the Gornergrat Railway or a local shuttle to reach Leisee, as Zermatt is a car-free village.
Public Transportation
From Aosta, take a train from Aosta station to Brig. At Brig station, transfer to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn train towards Zermatt. Upon arrival at Zermatt station, follow the signs to the Gornergrat Railway or a local shuttle that will take you to Leisee. Make sure to check the train schedules in advance for smooth connections.
