If you're starting from the Basilica di San Francesco, head east along Via San Francesco. Continue straight, crossing the intersection at Piazza del Comune. Keep walking straight until you reach Via del Municipio, then turn left. Follow this road until it turns into Via del Teatro Romano. The Anfiteatro Romano will be on your right at 4 Via Teatro Romano.

From the Assisi train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Via Giovanni XXIII. Turn left and follow the road uphill. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Assisi's historic center. Once inside the city, follow signs to the Basilica di San Francesco, then refer to the previous directions to reach Anfiteatro Romano.

If you are at Piazza del Comune, exit the square and head towards Via del Municipio. Walk straight until you reach Via del Teatro Romano. Turn right on Via del Teatro Romano and continue walking until you arrive at the Anfiteatro Romano, located at number 4.

From the Rocca Maggiore, walk down towards Via della Rocca, then turn right onto Via San Francesco. Continue straight until the intersection, turn left onto Via del Municipio, and follow the road until it turns into Via del Teatro Romano. The amphitheater will be located on your right.
