Walking
From the center of Assisi, start at the Basilica di San Francesco. Head east on Via San Francesco until you reach the intersection with Via del Comune. Turn left onto Via del Comune and continue straight until you reach the Piazza del Comune. From the piazza, take Via Anfiteatro, which will lead you out of the main town area. Continue on this road as it becomes Via San Pietro and then Via Cà Piombino. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers, and you will start to see signs leading to Mount Subasio. As you approach the park area, you may need to follow the trails leading up the mountain. The hike will take around 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

If you prefer a more scenic route, begin at the Assisi bus station (Piazza Matteotti). From there, take the main path that leads to the base of Mount Subasio.
