Walking
If you are starting from the Basilica di San Francesco, head northeast on Via San Francesco towards Piazza del Comune. Once you reach the square, take Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Comune. Turn left and follow this road, which will lead you out of the town center. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the entrance to Mount Subasio. Look for signs indicating the trails leading to the park.

From the Assisi train station, take the bus line that heads towards Santa Maria degli Angeli. Alight at the stop named 'Cà Piombino'. From there, follow the signs towards Mount Subasio, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The total travel time should be around 30 minutes, including a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the park.

If you have rented a bicycle in Assisi, start from the town center and head down Via San Francesco towards the valley. Once you reach the bottom, take the main road (SP 209) towards the direction of Mount Subasio. It's approximately a 20-minute bike ride with a moderate uphill towards the entrance to the park.
