Walking
If you're starting from the Basilica of San Francesco, head east on Viale Giuseppe Mazzini towards Via San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Repubblica. Turn left onto Via della Repubblica and walk until you reach Piazza del Comune. Here, you will see the beautiful town square with the Temple of Minerva. From Piazza del Comune, take Via Arco dei Priori, which is located at the northwest corner of the square. Continue walking on Via Arco dei Priori for about 200 meters, and you will find Sala Delle Volte on your right at Via dell Arco dei Priori.
Walking
If you're arriving from the Assisi train station, start by heading uphill on Via G. Matteotti towards the old town. This is a steep climb, so take your time. Continue straight until you reach the city walls, and enter the historic center through the Porta San Giacomo. Once inside, follow the main road (Via San Francesco) until you reach Piazza del Comune. From there, use Via Arco dei Priori as described above to reach Sala Delle Volte.
Walking
If you're near the Rocca Maggiore (the fortress), head down the path leading towards Via Frate Elia. Once you reach the main road, turn left onto Via San Francesco and head towards Piazza del Comune. After reaching the square, follow the directions mentioned earlier to get to Sala Delle Volte via Via Arco dei Priori.
