From the center of Assisi, start at the Basilica di San Francesco. Head east on Via San Francesco towards Via Portica. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Comune. Turn left onto Via del Comune and follow it until you reach Piazza del Comune. At the square, you will see the Temple of Minerva. From here, take Via dei Priori, which will lead you towards Perugia. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the border of Assisi. Continue straight, and you will find signs leading to Perugia. Follow these signs until you arrive at Piazza Braccio Fortebraccio in Perugia, where the Church of Saint Fortunatus is located.

From the main bus station in Assisi, take the bus labeled 'Perugia.' The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as bus frequency may vary.
