If you are starting from the Basilica of San Francesco, head east on Via San Francesco toward Via della Rocca. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Comune. From the piazza, take Via Anfiteatro Romano, which is located on the east side of the piazza. Walk straight along Via Anfiteatro Romano for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Roman theatre area located at Via Anfiteatro Romano, 8.

From the Assisi train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop outside. Take bus number 1 heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Piazza del Comune' stop. Once you are at the piazza, find Via Anfiteatro Romano, which is on the east side of the square. Walk along Via Anfiteatro Romano for about 5 minutes to reach the Roman theatre area at Via Anfiteatro Romano, 8.
