From the Basilica di San Francesco, head southeast on Via San Francesco toward Via della Rocca. Turn right onto Via della Rocca, then take the first left onto Via dell’Anfiteatro. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Comune. From the Piazza, take Via Santa Chiara, which will turn into Via San Damiano. Follow this road for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at San Damiano, located at Via San Damiano, 85.
Walking
If you're starting from the Assisi train station, exit the station and head east on Via della Stazione. Turn right onto Via degli Archi, continue walking until you reach Via San Francesco. Turn left and follow Via San Francesco until you reach Piazza del Comune. From the Piazza, take Via Santa Chiara, which will become Via San Damiano. Walk for about 20 minutes to arrive at San Damiano, located at Via San Damiano, 85.
Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Assisi, board a local bus heading towards the San Damiano area. You can inquire at the terminal for the specific bus number that stops near San Damiano.
