From Bari Centrale train station, purchase a ticket to Castellana Grotte. Trains typically depart every 30 minutes. The train journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Castellana Grotte station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop.

At the Castellana Grotte train station, take the local bus (line 1) toward 'Grotte di Castellana'. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes, and the ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Grotte di Castellana'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of the caves, which is clearly marked.

If you prefer to walk from the Castellana Grotte train station, exit the station and head southeast on Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Via Putignano, then turn left. Follow Via Putignano for about 1 kilometer until you see signs for Grotte di Castellana. It should take around 15-20 minutes to walk.
