Walking
If you are starting from Bologna Centrale, the main train station, exit the station and head straight towards Via dell'Indipendenza. Follow this street for about 1 kilometer, passing several shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Via Rizzoli. Turn right onto Via Rizzoli and continue walking for about 500 meters. Piazza XX Settembre will be on your left, just past the intersection with Via dei Mille.
