From the center of Capri, head towards the famous Piazzetta (main square). From there, take Via Vittorio Emanuele, which is the main road leading away from the square. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via Longano. Turn left onto Via Longano, and continue walking until you reach the end of this street. You will then see signs directing you to the chairlift to Monte Solaro. Take the chairlift from the base station, and enjoy the scenic ride up the mountain. Once you reach the top, follow the signs for the Hermitage of Santa Maria of Cetrella. The trail will lead you through beautiful landscapes; it's about a 30-minute walk from the chairlift station to the Hermitage.

Alternatively, you can take the path from the Marina Piccola area. If you are near Marina Piccola, take the path that starts from there and goes uphill. Follow the trail that leads towards the hill and will eventually take you to the Hermitage. This route is a bit more strenuous but offers stunning views along the way. It may take about 45 minutes to an hour to reach the Hermitage on foot.
