Getting There

Walking
From the center of Pompeii, head south toward Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the Pompei Scavi (excavations) train station. Take the Circumvesuviana train toward Sorrento and get off at the Sorrento station. From Sorrento, walk to the Marina Piccola port (approximately 10 minutes). Here, you can catch a ferry or hydrofoil to Capri. Once you arrive at the Capri port, you will need to take a local bus or taxi to reach Via Marina Piccola. Follow the signs to the bus station, and take the bus that says 'Marina Piccola'. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the beach.

Ferry
If you are already in Sorrento, head to the main port (Porto di Sorrento) which is about a 10 minute walk from the Sorrento train station. Once at the port, look for the ticket office for ferries to Capri. Buy a ticket for the ferry or hydrofoil to Capri. The ferry ride takes about 20-30 minutes. After arriving at the Capri port, take the local bus or a taxi to Via Marina Piccola, following the same instructions as above.
