Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, take the SR222 road towards Arezzo. Once you are on SR222, follow the signs for Arezzo. As you approach the city, take the exit towards Via dei Pileati. After exiting, continue straight until you reach Via dei Pileati. The Pretorio Palace will be located at number 8 on your right. Parking is available on the street, but be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around €1 to €2 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Pretorio Palace by public transport, first locate a bus stop in Chianti that services the Arezzo route. You can take the bus line that connects Chianti to Arezzo; the journey usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Arezzo bus station, exit the station and walk towards Via dei Pileati. The Pretorio Palace is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Simply head east on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via dei Pileati, and you will find the palace at number 8.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you prefer to travel by train, head to the nearest train station in Chianti and board a train to Arezzo. The train journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Arezzo train station, exit and follow the signs to the bus station or use a taxi service. If taking a taxi, it will take around 10 minutes and should cost approximately €10-€15. Alternatively, if you choose to walk, it will take about 25 minutes; exit the station, walk along Via Roma, and turn left onto Via dei Pileati to reach Pretorio Palace at number 8.
