If you're traveling by car, make your way to Gaiole in Chianti. From the town center, head southeast on Via Roma towards SP2. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto Località Ama. Follow the signs for Castello di Ama; it will be on your right after approximately 2 km. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Castello di Ama via public transportation, take a bus from Siena to Gaiole in Chianti. The bus service is operated by Tiemme, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Gaiole in Chianti bus station, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to Castello di Ama. Follow the signs towards Località Ama, and then turn right onto the road leading to the winery. Alternatively, consider using a taxi or rideshare service from the bus station for a more convenient option.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle in Gaiole in Chianti and take the scenic route to Castello di Ama. Head southeast from the town center and follow the same route as for cars, taking the left onto Località Ama.
