Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Chianti, and head towards Siena on the SR222 road. Follow the signs for Siena, and after approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the outskirts of the city. Once you enter Siena, look for signs directing you to the city center (Centro Storico). As you approach the historic area, follow the signs for 'Il Campo'. It is a pedestrian zone, so park your car at one of the designated parking areas outside the city walls, such as Parcheggio Il Campo or Parcheggio Santa Caterina. From the parking area, it's a short walk to Il Campo, which is located at Il Campo, 1.
Public Transportation
To reach Il Campo using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Chianti to Siena. The bus services like 'SITA' operate frequently from various towns in Chianti such as Greve in Chianti or Radda in Chianti. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Siena bus station, exit and follow signs for the city center. Walk towards Via Tozzi, which will lead you to the main entrance of the historic center. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Campo, where Il Campo, 1 is located. The square is well-indicated, and you can ask locals for directions if needed.
