    Getting There

    Train and Boat

    From any of the Cinque Terre villages (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, or Riomaggiore), make your way to the train station. Take a train towards La Spezia. Once you arrive at La Spezia Centrale station, exit the train and head towards the port area. From there, you can catch a ferry to Porto Venere. The ferry ride is scenic and will take you directly to Porto Venere's harbor.

    Hiking

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike from Manarola to Porto Venere. Start at Manarola and follow the Sentiero Azzurro (Blue Trail). The hike is approximately 7 km and will take you through beautiful landscapes and stunning coastal views. Follow the trail markers and be prepared for some steep sections. Once you reach Porto Venere, you will be greeted with breathtaking views of the village and the sea.

    Bus and Boat

    From Monterosso al Mare, take the local bus to La Spezia. The bus station is located near the train station. Once you reach La Spezia, head to the port and take a ferry to Porto Venere. The bus ride offers a chance to see more of the surrounding areas, and the ferry will provide you with stunning views as you approach Porto Venere.
