Train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella train station, take a regional train towards Siena. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Get off at Certaldo station. Once you arrive at Certaldo, exit the train station and head towards the town center. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Piazza della Repubblica, where you will find the entrance to the old town. From there, walk towards Via Boccaccio and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via del Vicariato. Turn left onto Via del Vicariato, and you will find Palazzo Pretorio at Piazzetta del Vicariato, 4.
Bus
From Florence, you can take the SITA bus from the central bus station (Stazione di Firenze Santa Maria Novella) to Certaldo. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Certaldo, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards the historical center, and follow the signs to Piazza della Repubblica. Continue onto Via Boccaccio, then turn left onto Via del Vicariato, where you will find Palazzo Pretorio located at Piazzetta del Vicariato, 4.

If you are close to Certaldo, walking is a pleasant option. From the Certaldo train station or the bus terminal, head towards the old town. Follow signs towards Piazza della Repubblica and Via Boccaccio. Once on Via Boccaccio, continue straight until you reach a left turn onto Via del Vicariato. Palazzo Pretorio will be on your left at Piazzetta del Vicariato, 4.
