Walking
From San Marco, head south on Via San Gallo towards Via Cavour. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn right onto Via Cavour, which will lead you towards the historic center. Take this road for about 10 minutes, passing by various shops and cafes. Once you reach the Piazza del Duomo, continue straight onto Via dei Calzaiuoli. After a short walk, you'll reach the Piazza della Signoria. From there, head southeast on Via dei Neri, which will lead you directly to Piazza di Santa Croce, where the Basilica is located.

From San Marco, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via dei Servi. Board bus number 14 or 23 and travel towards Santa Croce. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Santa Croce stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Piazza di Santa Croce, which is just a short distance away, and you will find the Basilica of Santa Croce.
