Getting There

  From any location in Friuli Venezia Giulia, head towards the A23 motorway. If you're starting from Udine, take the A23 north towards Tarvisio. After approximately 70 kilometers, take the exit for Bovec (Slovenia). Once you exit, follow the signs towards Bovec. Continue on the main road (H4) for about 15 kilometers until you reach Bovec. From Bovec, follow the local signs to Ravni Laz. The fort is located at Ravni Laz 16, 5231 Bovec, Slovenia. There are no tolls on this route, but keep in mind that you will cross the border into Slovenia. Make sure to have your identification and any necessary travel documents ready.
