Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the center of Kranjska Gora, head towards the main road (Triglavska cesta). Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road towards Rateče. Continue walking straight for about 3 km until you reach the village of Rateče. Here, you can take a rest at one of the local cafes if you wish.

    Once in Rateče, follow the signs towards the Juliana Trail. You will need to turn left onto a smaller road that leads into the forest. Continue along this road, which will take you to the starting point of the Juliana Trail. The path will be clearly marked with signs indicating the trail.

    Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Kranjska Gora to Bovec. The bus stop is located near the center of Kranjska Gora. Check the local bus schedule for times and routes.
