From Genoa, head to the Genova Piazza Principe train station. Purchase a ticket to Savona. Trains to Savona run frequently, usually every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Savona train station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop.

At the bus stop outside Savona train station, take bus line 1 or 2 heading towards the port area. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Porto' stop, which is close to the Dock of Savona.
