Train
If you are in Genoa, head to the Genova Piazza Principe train station. Take a regional train towards Savona, which typically takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Savona train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Via Paleocapa. Turn left on Via Paleocapa, and then take a right onto Corso Vittorio Veneto. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Leon Pancaldo, where La Torretta - Torre Leon Pancaldo is located. It will be on your left.
Bus
From Genoa, you can take a bus from the central bus station, which is near Piazza della Libertà. Look for bus services heading to Savona. Once you arrive at the Savona bus terminal, exit and walk towards the waterfront along Via Famagosta. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Leon Pancaldo. La Torretta - Torre Leon Pancaldo will be right in front of you.
Ferry
For a scenic route, consider taking a ferry from the Porto Antico area in Genoa. Board a ferry that goes to Savona; this journey may take around 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Savona ferry terminal, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs to Piazza Leon Pancaldo. The landmark will be a short walk away, located nearby the marina.
Walking
If you're staying near the coast in Genoa, you can walk to the train station at Genova Piazza Principe. From there, follow the previous train instructions. Alternatively, you could walk to Savona as it is approximately 35 kilometers away, but this would take several hours, so it’s recommended only if you’re up for a long hike.
