Walking
From the heart of Centro Storico, head towards Via Garibaldi. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Balbi. Turn left onto Via Balbi and continue until you reach the waterfront. Once you are at the waterfront, you should see a large building with a distinctive architecture; this is part of the Aquarium complex. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach Ponte Spinola, which is the main entrance to the Aquarium of Genoa.

Public Transport - Bus
If you are further away from the waterfront, you can catch a bus from various stops in Centro Storico. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Piazza De Ferrari' and board bus number 1 or 3, both of which stop near the Aquarium. The fare is approximately €1.50, valid for 100 minutes. Get off at the 'Acquario' stop, and you will see the entrance to the Aquarium just a short walk away.

Another option is to use the Metro. The closest metro station to Centro Storico is 'Darsena.' Take the metro line 1 towards 'Brin' and disembark at 'Darsena' station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs towards the waterfront and walk along the promenade until you reach Ponte Spinola, where the Aquarium is located. The metro ticket costs around €1.50.
