If you're driving to Pont d'Aël, start from the main town of Cogne. Head southeast on the SP20 road, following the signs for Aosta. Continue on this road for approximately 17 kilometers until you reach the junction at Villeneuve. Here, take a right turn onto the SS26 towards Aosta. After about 6 kilometers, you will see signs for Fraz. Pondel on your left. Turn onto this road and follow it for about 2 kilometers, where you will find parking available near the entrance to the Pont d'Aël site. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with some cash or a card.

Public Transportation
To reach Pont d'Aël using public transport, take a bus from Cogne to Aosta. The bus service is operated by the local transport company, and it runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Aosta, you will need to take another bus towards Villeneuve. From Villeneuve, you can take the bus that goes to Fraz. Pondel. Make sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as they can vary. Upon reaching the Fraz. Pondel bus stop, it's a short walk to the Pont d'Aël site. The total cost for the bus journey may vary, so be sure to have some euros handy for tickets.

If you're already in the vicinity of Pont d'Aël and prefer to hike, there are scenic walking trails from nearby locations such as Cogne or Villeneuve. Starting from Villeneuve, head towards the SS26 road and follow the signs for Fraz. Pondel. The hike is approximately 4 kilometers and will take about 1 hour, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear proper hiking shoes and bring water, as some parts of the trail can be steep.
