Getting There

Walking
From the Herculaneum archaeological site entrance, head east on Via IV Novembre. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and walk for about 700 meters. You will come to the Circumvesuviana train station called Ercolano Scavi. From here, take the train towards Napoli Centrale. After about 20 minutes, get off at Napoli Centrale station. Once at Napoli Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro Line 1. Take the Metro towards Piscinola and get off at the Toledo station. Exit the station, and from the exit, head towards Via Monteoliveto. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Complesso Monumentale Sant'Anna dei Lombardi, located at Piazza Monteoliveto, 4.

Start from Herculaneum's main bus stop on Via Roma. Take the local bus number 7 (or similar route that heads to Napoli). The bus ride should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the stop near Napoli Centrale train station. From Napoli Centrale, you can either take the Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at Toledo station or simply walk to Piazza Monteoliveto, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Walk east on Via Monteoliveto to reach your destination at Complesso Monumentale Sant'Anna dei Lombardi.
