Getting There

Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, head south on Via Roma towards Via Giovanni XXIII. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the main road, Corso Umberto I. Turn left onto Corso Umberto I and walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Via Napoli. Here, you will find a bus stop for the local buses heading towards Pozzuoli. Take bus number 152 or 145, which will take you directly towards Pozzuoli. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Via SP 164'. The Cuma Archaeological Park is just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop; follow the signs towards the park entrance.

Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Herculaneum train station (Ercolano Scavi). Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After about 15 minutes, transfer at the Naples Centrale station to the Metro Line 2 (red line) towards Pozzuoli. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the Pozzuoli stop. From there, you can take bus number 152 or 145 from the bus terminal right outside the train station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Via SP 164', and walk about 5 minutes to reach the Cuma Archaeological Park entrance.
