Walking
If you are in the central area of Herculaneum, head towards Corso Resina. Walk along Corso Resina until you reach the intersection with Viale dei Pini. Turn left onto Viale dei Pini and continue straight until you reach the Villa Comunale. From there, you can find the local train station, Ercolano Scavi. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Napoli Porta Nolana. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Napoli Montesanto station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Largo S. Martino, which is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill.

Start your journey from the Ercolano Scavi station, which is easily accessible from various points in Herculaneum. Board the Circumvesuviana train heading towards Napoli Porta Nolana. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Napoli Montesanto station. Upon exiting the train station, head towards the exit that leads to Via Toledo. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Largo S. Martino, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

From central Herculaneum, look for the bus stop on Corso Resina that services the EAV bus line towards Naples. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at 'Piazza Dante'. After getting off, follow the signs to Via Toledo. Continue walking straight until you reach Largo S. Martino, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The museum will be on your left.
