    From Herculaneum's archaeological site, head east on Via Pugliano towards Via Roma. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the end of Corso Resina, turn right onto Via Garibaldi, which will lead you to the train station. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at the Napoli Porta Nolana station. Exit the station and walk straight for about 700 meters until you reach Piazza Mercato.

    Start at Herculaneum's archaeological site and walk to the nearby Circumvesuviana train station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Napoli Porta Nolana. The train ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After arriving at Napoli Porta Nolana, exit the station and walk straight along Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue for about 800 meters, then turn left onto Via Marina. Walk along Via Marina for another 200 meters, and you will arrive at Piazza Mercato.
