From Positano, head to the main beach area (Spiaggia Grande). Look for the ferry terminal located on the beach. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Amalfi. Ferries run frequently, especially during the tourist season. The ferry ride takes about 20-30 minutes, offering scenic views of the coastline. Once you arrive in Amalfi, disembark at the main dock.

After disembarking at the Amalfi dock, walk towards the main square (Piazza del Duomo). From the square, head towards Largo Cesareo Console. The Antico Arsenale della Repubblica is located at Largo Cesareo Console, 4, just a short 5-minute walk from the square. Keep an eye out for the large historical building that houses the museum.

Another option is to take a local SITA bus from Positano to Amalfi. Locate the bus stop at the main road (Via Pasitea) in Positano. Board a bus heading to Amalfi; the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Amalfi, follow the same walking directions to Largo Cesareo Console, as mentioned above.
