From the A10 motorway, take the exit for Ventimiglia and follow the signs for Dolceacqua. Once you arrive in Dolceacqua, follow Via Castello uphill until you reach the entrance of Castello di Dolceacqua. There is limited parking available near the castle, so be prepared to park in designated areas and walk a short distance.

For those using public transportation, take a train from major cities in the Italian Riviera, such as Sanremo or Ventimiglia, to Dolceacqua. The nearest train station is in Ventimiglia. From Ventimiglia, take bus line 8 (direction Dolceacqua) which operates regularly and costs about €2. The bus will drop you off at the main square in Dolceacqua. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) uphill to Castello di Dolceacqua along Via Castello.
