• Car

  If you're driving to Piazza del Principe in Genoa, first navigate to the A7 motorway, which connects various parts of Liguria. Take the exit for Genoa Ovest and follow the signs for the city center (Centro). Once in the city, follow Via di Francia and then Via Fanti d'Italia. Continue until you reach Corso Aurelio Saffi, where you will find Piazza del Principe. Be aware that parking can be limited, and you may need to use one of the nearby parking garages, which typically charge around €2-3 per hour.

• Train

  For those traveling by train, head to your nearest train station in Liguria and take a regional train to Genoa Piazza Principe station, which is the closest station to the square. The train journey may vary in duration, typically taking between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your starting location. Once you arrive at Genoa Piazza Principe station, exit the station, and you will find yourself just a short walk from Piazza del Principe. Follow the signs directing you towards the city center.

• Public Transportation (Bus/Metro)

  If you prefer using public transportation, you can take a bus or the metro to reach Piazza del Principe. From Genoa city center, locate the nearest bus stop or metro station and board the bus or metro line that heads toward Piazza del Principe. The bus lines 1, 9, and 35 can take you close to the square. The metro line can also be used; take the line that goes to San Giorgio station, and then transfer to a bus or walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the square.
