Walking
From Piazza della Repubblica, walk north towards the canals. Cross the bridge onto Scali della Fortezza Nuova. The entrance to Fortezza Nuova will be visible on your left, a short walk along the Scali.
Public Transport
From Livorno Central Station, take bus line 1+, 2+, 4+, 10 or 21 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Livorno P.za Della Repubblica' stop. From there, walk north towards the canals and cross the bridge onto Scali della Fortezza Nuova. The entrance to Fortezza Nuova will be on your left. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50.
Taxi
From Livorno Central Station, a taxi ride to Fortezza Nuova will take approximately 10 minutes. The taxi stand is located outside the main entrance of the train station. Expect to pay around €10-€15 for the trip, depending on traffic.
