Getting There

  • Train

    From Lucca, walk to Lucca's train station (Stazione di Lucca), which is about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Massa, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Trains run frequently, so you should have no trouble finding a suitable departure. After arriving at Massa train station, exit the station and look for bus services heading to Marina di Massa.

  • Bus

    At Massa train station, you can take Bus Line 2 or 3 towards Marina di Massa. The bus stop is just outside the train station. The journey to the beach should take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Viale Lungomare di Ponente; Libeccio Beach is a short walk from there.

  • Walking

    Once you get off the bus, walk towards Viale Lungomare di Ponente. Continue walking along the promenade, and you will see signs directing you to Libeccio Beach. The beach is located at Viale Lungomare di Ponente, 20, which is easily accessible on foot.
