Getting There

  • Train

    From any of the five villages in Cinque Terre (Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore), make your way to the nearest train station. Take a train towards La Spezia. Once you arrive in La Spezia, change trains to the regional train heading to Carrara. The journey from La Spezia to Carrara takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Carrara train station, exit and take a local bus towards Marina di Carrara. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Marina di Carrara' and walk towards Viale Cristoforo Colombo to reach Porto di Carrara.

  • Ferry and Train

    First, take a ferry from one of the Cinque Terre villages to La Spezia. Once in La Spezia, head to the train station. Take a regional train to Carrara, which takes around 30 minutes. After arriving in Carrara, take a local bus to Marina di Carrara. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Disembark at 'Marina di Carrara' and proceed to Viale Cristoforo Colombo to find Porto di Carrara.
