If you are starting from the Lucca Train Station, exit the station and walk southeast on Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the historic city walls. Enter through the Porta San Donato gate. Once inside the walls, follow the path along the ramparts, keeping the walls to your right. You will reach the Casermetta San Donato, which houses the Museo della Zecca. The museum is located at Piazzale Giuseppe Verdi, Via delle Mura Urbane. Look for the distinctive museum signage as you approach.

If you are near Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, head towards Via Fillungo and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Paolino. The Museo della Zecca is located at Piazzale Giuseppe Verdi, Via delle Mura Urbane, just off the path.
