If you are starting from the Lucca Train Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi for about 500 meters until you reach the city walls. Enter through the Porta San Donato gate. Once inside the walls, continue straight onto Via San Donato, and then turn right onto Via della Chiesa. Follow this street until you reach Piazza Cittadella, which will be on your left. The total distance is approximately 1 kilometer and will take around 15-20 minutes.

From the Lucca City Center (Piazza dell'Anfiteatro), head west on Via Fillungo. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Via San Giovanni. Continue until you reach the end of the street, where it merges into Via della Chiesa. Turn right here, and you will soon see Piazza Cittadella on your left. This route is approximately 1 kilometer and will take about 15 minutes.

If you are near the Cathedral of San Martino, exit the cathedral and turn left onto Via Vittorio Emanuele. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Chiesa, then turn right. Continue straight, and you will arrive at Piazza Cittadella within 10 minutes, as it is approximately 800 meters away.
