From Lucca's city center, head south towards the Porta San Pietro. Once you reach the gate, exit the city walls and follow Via San Pietro for about 1.5 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Rosa. Turn left onto Via della Rosa and continue straight until you reach the Piazza Santa Caterina in Pisa, which should be on your right after about 500 meters.

From Lucca, head to the main bus station located near the Piazza del Mercato. Look for the bus service to Pisa, specifically to the 'Pisa Centrale' station. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pisa Centrale, exit the station and walk towards the northwest exit onto Via Roma. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Piazza Santa Caterina, which will be on your left.

Go to Lucca's train station, which is located just outside the city walls. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Pisa. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Pisa Centrale, exit the station and follow the signs to Via Roma. Walk along Via Roma for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at Piazza Santa Caterina, located on your left.
