Walking
From the city center of Lucca, head towards the nearest city gate, Porta San Pietro. Exit the gate and walk straight along Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight until you reach the train station, Stazione di Lucca. From there, take a train to Pisa Centrale. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Pisa Centrale, follow the signs to the bus station located right outside the train station. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Pisa - Ponte di Mezzo'. Get off at the stop 'Ponte di Mezzo'. The Ponte di Mezzo is a short walk from the bus stop.

Bus
From Lucca, go to the Lucca Bus Station located at Piazzale Verdi. Look for the bus services heading to Pisa. You can catch the LAM Rossa bus or any bus that has 'Pisa' in its route. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Pisa, walk towards the river, and you will reach Ponte di Mezzo within a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the river; you should be able to see the bridge.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Lucca. Head out of the city through Porta Santa Maria and follow the cycling path towards Pisa. The route is approximately 20 km and generally flat, taking around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach Pisa, follow the signs to Ponte di Mezzo, which is located along the Arno River. The ride will lead you directly to the bridge.
