If you are driving from the town of Fivizzano, head southwest on Via Roma toward SP17. Continue on SP17 until you reach the junction with SS62. Take the SS62 towards La Spezia. Follow SS62 for about 30 kilometers. As you approach La Spezia, follow the signs for the city center. Once in La Spezia, look for Via XX Settembre, and you will find Piazza Mentana located nearby. There are several parking options around the square.

From the town of Pontremoli, take a train from Pontremoli Station to La Spezia Centrale. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at La Spezia Centrale, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. You can take bus line 4 or 1 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Garibaldi.' From there, it's a short walk to Piazza Mentana; simply head southwest on Via XX Settembre for about 500 meters.

If you're coming from Sarzana, drive west on SP331. Continue straight until you reach La Spezia, following signs for the city center. Once in La Spezia, follow signs for Via XX Settembre. Piazza Mentana is just off this road. Look for parking garages nearby, as street parking can be limited.

Starting from the town of Aulla, take the train from Aulla Lunigiana Station to La Spezia Centrale. The ride takes about 25 minutes. Upon arriving at La Spezia Centrale, you can either walk (approximately 1 km) or take a bus to get to Piazza Mentana. If walking, exit the station and head southeast on Viale Italia, then turn left on Via XX Settembre, and continue until you reach the square.
