Walking
From Giglio Castello, follow the panoramic road south. Where the paved road ends, the trail to Capel Rosso begins. The walk to the lighthouse takes approximately 25-35 minutes. Be prepared for a moderate hike with some rocky sections.
Public Transport
Take the bus from Giglio Porto to Giglio Castello. From Giglio Castello, follow the walking directions to Punta di Capel Rosso. Bus tickets can be purchased at shops or bars displaying the Tiemme sign. A single bus fare costs approximately €1-€2.
Taxi
Take a taxi from Giglio Porto to the end of the paved road towards Punta Capel Rosso. From there, walk the final section to the lighthouse. A taxi ride from Giglio Porto to the road's end costs approximately €15-€20. Be aware that taxis on Giglio Island are limited.
