Walking

While Sovana is not easily reached by public transport, you can take a train from Grosseto to Sorano. The train journey takes about 40 minutes. From Sorano, take a local bus or taxi to Sovana. Once in Sovana, walk towards Strada Provinciale Sovana and follow the signs to Rocca Aldobrandesca.
